TEMA Crossover

Hi, I’m having trouble setting those rules :

– if TEMA crossed above SMA18

– RSI is above 50

– MACD is above 0.

In my EA I set “Tema crosses above SMA18 ” but when I backtest it it seems that the EA only opens positions when the three conditions are true at the same time but I want to open a position when the tema already crossed or is crossing above sma18 and the two other rules are true.

how many bars are you willing to wait the the signal after TEMA cross? I can setup an example on this

I don’t have a deadline for opening the position so whenever the conditions are true would be great.

Can you change it so that once the tema crossed the sma it only opens one position?

For instance when the tema crossed above or below sma it only opens one long or short position until a new cross?
