Hi everyone, I am very new to EAWizard and although I have searched around I can’t find the answer to this question.  When using the “crosses above” operator, what consitutes a value being “above” the other? Is it literally down to the pipette/lowest decimal value in for example the moving average value?  e.g. 1.18687 and 1.18688 would ‘activate’ the operator with the second value being above the first? Thanks for any help in advance!

Hello,

it depends on the testing precision you use. With the highest resolution i.e. “Every tick” in MetaTrader you can detect even temporary moving average cross (using Shift = 0) for example even if at the time bar finally closes the cross never happened. So it depends how you set it all up
