Tick Size for CFDs

Hi,

Exporting strategy from SQX to MT4 I see on the extern parameters the boolean “Use Tick size from SQ (for CFDs)”. It comes with False by default. I’ve checked the MQ4 code and looks like activating makes any kind of control or whatever. What does it stand for? How should we take it into account and how to manage it?

for exotic pairs (usually non forex CFDs) the default method of computing tick size in EA might not work correctly. By turning this on and specifying MainChartTickSizeSQ value you can let EA use the correct tick size. So it can be handy for some CFDs then but in most cases you set UseSQTickSize = false and use the default settings
