tickdata folder move

Hi

I downloaded the data and it downloaded it in the folder “tickdata” I made a copy of this folder to an external hardrive.

I changed my computer and reinstalled the tick downloader and copied the data from the harddrive to the tickdata folder. Now when I want to update the data or download it starts from scratch (starts downloading from 2003) and DOES NTO NOTICE any of the files that are already there.

Is there a way to have one backup of data and use that instead of downloading to a new computer every time.

if you place downloaded tick data folders into the \tickdata folder it will be recognized as already downloaded
