Using GPU instead of CPU

Hi there,

It make sense to think that as much powerful the pc is, the better SQX performance in terms of strategies generation or tests.

Is SQX capable to use the GPU cores of a powerful video card to improve their performance?

I know that the code needs to support that feature, but maybe it’s a good way to improve the sw performance by adding a GPU instead of purchasing a new computer or updating it.

Hello,

this has been discussed many times on this forum. GPU structure is not suitable to evaluate complex tasks of genetic programming algorithm that SQX uses. We will possibly find a solution to this in future though
