https://strategyquant.com/forum/topic/piptick-size-and-value-for-crypto/

I have read relation topic. But I still don’t know how do I set the crypto’s pip size pip step pont value.

I guess point value is 1(BTC) But I don’t know step and size.

I have referenced Metatrader5′ ‘Symbol’ setting.

ETCBTC

digit  = 6

Contract size = 1.00

ETCBTC’s current price is 0.000574(bid) 0.000579(ask)

I have tried several back testing (point value = 1 , pip step = 0.000001 , pip size = 0.000001)

But every testing result does not match MT5 simulation. (I have adjusted cost set(spread, commision, etc) like FX. In most cases, adjusting these settings produced the proper results. )

I assume that trading cost is not correct.

And I confused how do I set the money management setting.

Sometimes the result was not at all.

What is proper crypto setting?

or Does Strategy Quant not support crypto?

Thank you Tomas. I have one more question.  Why is pip size 0.0001 ? I’m confused pip value does not match pip step. I have followed ‘dukascopy’ for the FX configuration .

Hi. Have you ever tried to earn cryptocurrency in blockchain games? A friend recently suggested it to me. He said that this way you can collect coins that will then be transferred to cryptocurrency. I’m interested but not sure yet. Have you tried it?
