Hi Mark,

I am trying to develope an indicator (using EA Wizard) that generates a buy signal when price closes above green LSMA (sell signal when closes below indicator). How do I identify colour change in this indicator and make sure the signals are not repeatedly generated. LSMA has 3 colors – red, yellow and green.

Thank you for your assistance.

Jojo

Hi,

do you have your LSMA indicator as MQ4 file? Can you upload it so I can see how it works? I see there are more LSMA versions around …

This would be ideal to have as a new custom block to have full ability to build and optimize strategies based upon LSMA. We can give you a hand implementing this to your SQ. Check this page https://strategyquant.com/codebase/request-coding/
