    I am attempting to export data from Ninjatrader for the first time and do not find any data in the specified file.  I am using Ninjatrader version 7.0.1000.27 and the SQDataExport indicator.  I am specifying a file on my C drive but see no evidence that data is being transferred.  I believe that I am supposed to see a message saying that data transfer has started and to be patient.

     

    Help would be appreciated as this is holding up my purchase of Strategy Quant.

    Hello Lawrence,

     

    so the export file was created, but it is empty? Or it wasn’t created at all?

     

    Are you sure that the SQDataExport indicator was properly added to the chart?

    It should display a message “Data are being exported to a file ‘your file name'”

     

    Please look alto at NinjaTrader Log tab, if there isn’t some error message produced by this indicator.

     

    But if you didn’t see any message after you added the indicator it seems the indicator wasn’t added correctly.
