Create a strategy, StategyQuant Pro 3.8.1

Hi Forum,

I am using StrategyQuant and tried to create a strategy like this:
1.)
Long : D1 EMA(10) above D1 SMA(50), Price above both
Short: D1 EMA(10) below D1 SMA(50), Price below both
2.)
Long on Stochastic below 20, and Price below H1 EMA(10), and above H1 SMA(50)
Short on Stochastic above 80, and Price above H1 EMA(10), and below H1 SMA(50)

Exits:
Exit all Longs after price closes above H1 EMA(10)
Exit all Shorts after price closes below H1 EMA(10)

How can I use different time frames?
 

Hello, You mean you want to setup the rule for H1 but test it in different time frame. So you will let the rule time frames different with the test time frames, is that right?

Hi, I want to use both, D1 for longer trend checks and H1 for triggering the order.Within an EA it is no problem. Using StrategyQuant Pro for testing I found no way to use the long and short conditions together within the strategy editor.

You will need advanced Strategy Editor to make this in SQ. But this comes with new version that is not released yet.
