Algowizard empty string

Hi, after some time away I’m back at playing around with Algowizard. I installed it on my mac and am trying to create a simple strategy. Upon trying to back test I get NumberFormatExceptiopn: Empty String.

I wonder what it means? I can’t see any button to see any sort of debug log or any sort of way to see which rule / variable this error refers to.

So I wonder if I’m missing something? It cannot be that the Wizard just throws in the error code randomly in the air without any reference to which part/condition/rule/variable/string/row is producing it, right?

Furthermore I get this when choosing any symbol, even though I already downloaded the DC data from data manager..

Hi Tomas, happy to be back, but struggling 🙂

Now I was trying to test a Grid strategy some other member built here. Trying to add a simple rule to it that says if open p/l is above 200 pips (for example), close all positions. I keep getting errors which don’t make sense, video:

Then, I tried exporting that strategy and loading it into the web version of Algowizard, that won’t work:

I wonder if I am doing something wrong or the system is just bugged?

I also tried the new version you linked above with similar errors (the update of the mac application actually wiped out all data from the data manager.. I thought it doesn’t overwrite existing data).

This happens to me as well. I’m using a trial license for V.136

Seems like I can work around the “empty string” message by turning off the Exit Methods of the full editor mode. So when I simply use SL, TP or SL to BE I don’t get this message. Maybe in my case it is just a limitation of the trial.

Also, I cannot use other symbols than EURUSD. I get the same error, although I’ve downloaded them (I tried forex pairs and indices from dukascopy) and I have no idea how to solve this. Would be great to get an answer here.
