Hi All!

There are differences if I download the Dukascopy TICK data in SQX and if I import the already manually downloaded Dukascopy TICK data.

The times and the prices are not matching….

Any idea?

I tried to compare the data downloaded using SQX and TD (imported into SQX) and both match. See the screenshot attached.

Where did you find a difference?

Hi Tomas

I had already downloaded data from Tick Data Suite (TDS). It is in CVS format, in a big 15 GB file. This file I imported in SQX and compared with the downloaded Dukascopy tick data by SQX.

The timezones were the same, but (for example) the starting day at the TDS was 2003.05.04 evening, but in the SQX 2003.05.05. And the time stamps were also not the same…

I just wanted to compare these datas.

The question is: are the by SQX downloaded tick datas reliable? To be honest, I would like to switch slowly to SQX, because the importing / updating of the datas in SQ 3 is “complicated” and time consuming and as I see, the SQX has some very useful functions.

BRG and thank you: Csaba

the question is: what settings did you use in TDS to export data from there…what UTC and DST?

I used everywhere UTC+2 and NO DST

I am attaching now 2 pictures also.

You can see, that already the starting date is not correct.

One more last question:

IN TDS:

I will use (at the exporting) GMT + 2 — NO DST

IN SQX

What should I choose? There are some cities with GMT + 2 and NO DST, like Tripoli, Cairo, Harare, Istanbul, etc. Which one should I choose?

Thx a lot!
