I am curious to know how anyone using a FIFO compliant broker has managed to build a portfolio of EAs for trading. FIFO mostly applies to traders (living in the US) using US-based brokers.
I look forward to learning from you all!

Hello,
if you want a system to work in FIFO mode so that any time time there is only a single position in a specific market at any time and no other will be open until the previous is close you can edit your strategy templates using AlgoWizard.
You will need to add two conditions basically. The first will be a check for another existing position for “Current” symbol using magic = Any. Another condition would check for an existing pending order in the “current” market. You do not want to enter a trade with another pending order open (placed earlier).
This can be simply done using AlgoWizard. You can follow our tutorial https://strategyquant.com/search/?q=template
Basically you can setup this as template and have these 2 conditions included in any future strategy created
Another thing would be the overall portfolio performance. Supposedly you have developed your portfolio with no overlapping trades for the same market if should then all work good using the setup

Thanks a lot, Tomas! Would you mind elaborating further on the comment below? Do you mean using EAs with low correlation might work with a FIFO account?
