Issues with STOP Limit on breakout strategies

Hi Team,

I’m a consistent issue in getting a breakout that will enter a STOP at both ends of the range in MT5. It seems to work in SQX, but once put into MT5, it will only make a long or a short, not both.

I noticed the breakout template that comes with SQX doesn’t seem to have this issue, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why (It is a shame all the variables in that template are hidden).

Hi, do you use different magic number for both orders? Meaning if you place 2 orders with the same magic number at the same time it will not work

Hi Thomas, thanks for the reply. In the example attached, both have different magic numbers. Still same issue.
