SQX Freezing When Picking Dates in AlgoWizard

I have version 143.

I kept getting a “strategy settings not found” error when trying to save a template. I could not figure out what I did wrong or what I missed so I started over in trying to rebuild the strategy. (Quick and Easy Not a big deal)

When I go to pick the date SQX freezes for extended about of time.

It makes it unusable and I can only frantically click outside of the box and it eventually goes away but I cant pick a date reliably.

Also how do you save a template?

Could you record a short clip to show us what happens and when it happens? I can change dates easily using the datepicker. See the video clip attached

Hello, i too am getting a freeze when load my data in algo wizard. Froze for maybe a couple minutes, then frees up. However unable to continue as the start date year says 999, and provokes an error message.

Let me know if you suspect I’m doing something wrong.

I am experiencing the same issue with AlgoWizard. When loading data, the program freezes for a couple of minutes, then unfreezes — but I am unable to continue because the Start Date year is set to 999, which triggers an error and stops the workflow.

I’m unsure if this is a bug in the current build or if I might be missing a configuration step.Any guidance or workaround would be greatly appreciated!

I am experiencing the same issue in version 143 SQX-BR.

When I try to select the dates, the screen freezes and, after a while, the date is shown as 999-12-31<strong data-start=”308″ data-end=”321″>.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The same here. Recently bought the pro version, and trying my first retest, got this apparent bug. I keep getting these invalid dates that prevent me from performing the backtest. I’m using SQX for mac build 143.2651.

please try to update to the latest SQX version 143.2675 and check whether the issue still exists in this version. You can download your copy here https://cdn.strategyquant.com/install/sq/143/SQX_143_win_20251202.zip.
Install (unpack) into a new empty folder. Please test and let me know if the issue persists

Mesmo problema na versão brasileira do SQX 143.2652: o Algowizard trava ao selecionar datas e passa a mostrar 999.12.31. Não consigo atualizar para uma versão mais recente — infelizmente troquei minha versão Ultimate americana pela edição brasileira e agora não consigo usar minha licença após a atualização do Tomás. Para os brasileiros, continua disponível apenas a versão de novembro, com o erro que impede utilizar a aplicação.

Same issue on the Brazilian edition of SQX 143.2652: Algowizard freezes when selecting dates and the date becomes 999-12-31. I cannot download a newer version — I unfortunately swapped my US Ultimate edition for the Brazilian edition and now cannot use my license after Tomás’s update. For Brazilians, only the November release is still available, with the problem that inutilize the platform.

Oi Gama, você consegueu resolver? Estou com o mesmo problema. A solução oferecida pelo tomas262 não é valida para minha licença brasileira e a que posso descarregar no Brasil é antiga, não está atualizada e o erro persiste.

this have been already resolved. Please make a clean installation by download the zip installer from our website
