What is the right way to update SQX without to loos the personal data?

SQX loosing during the setup process of the new Build the data inthe data manager. The SQXUpdater.exe do not work in Build 109.

What is the right way to update SQX without to loos the personal data?

very easy . backup you data in user folder and then backup your wiews. then copy them to new installation

if you use the updater the data are preserved. If you just extract it from the ZIP, you shoudln’t overwrite your data folder- don’t copy anything from /user/data from ZIP into your installation.

Hello, you should be prompted for an update automatically upon SQX start. What build version do you run at the moment? The latest SQX can be obtained here https://strategyquant.com/download/

I run build 115.

There was no prompted after a lot of new starts of build 114.

I have had to completely reinstall all builds since the beta version -annoying.
