How EA Wizard can modify pending orders?

HI Mark.

 

I’ve written an EA which is designed to straddle the news 10 seconds before the event. I have this function working OK thus far where it sets fixed pending orders, however sometimes the price can slip up or down in the few seconds before the actual event time, risking market execution before the news release.

 

In this case I would like the pending buy & sell orders to continually modify to stay 10 pips above and below the current price up until the news event time. But there doesn’t seem to be any option to modify existing pending orders? Please can you show me how I would do this?

can’t you just create a new pending order that replaces the existing one?

Thanks for your input. Yes, I could but I’m looking at possibly around 20 modifications in 10 seconds. I didn’t want my account history to fill up with useless order info.
