I’ve created a simple indicator with EA wizard that isn’t working properly…

It has a simple filter to check if a fast EMA is above or below a slow EMA, but referencing the daily timeframe. I use the indicator on lower timeframe charts.

Why is this?

I’m getting long and short signals on pairs where the EMA’s are clearly setup in only one particular way.

In metaeditor, I also get the following warning message when trying to compile:

declaration of ‘signalShift’ hides global declaration at line 76

I don’t seem to have this same problem when creating EA’s. (at least I hope not!)

Warning message shouldn’t be a problem and affect EA function. Can you attach your wizard project or send to [email protected] so I can check?

Hi Tomas,

I actually think it’s fine. Must be something weird about when you first attach the indicator when referencing previous signals…seems to be working ok now on live signals.

Thanks.
