What the hell? Any idea what this is all about? I’m wondering if something has hijacked SQ?

it is possible that some virus infected your system and SQ as well, but I think it is antivirus mistake.
Try using a different antivirus or scan your system.

Just running a scan now and it’s picking up a few trojans within my e-mail.. I’m always very careful with what I open so I don’t think I’m infected but there are definitely some dodgy attachments in the junk folder..

Most likely the STR file has a byte-string in it that is similar to a virus in the scanners database. This can happen as the strategies are generated by random. Nothing to worry about usually.

Think about it. Maybe Your SQ has discovered a trojan for Forex ? 😉 Every future price is well known for Your strategy 😉

When signing into the forum today, (I haven’t been on in a couple months) I got this message, clicked back, and then reloaded the page. Then it was fine. My computer doesn’t have any viruses and this obviously was not a virus scan, it was the strategyquant webpage.
1 minute before logging in, I downloaded the latest update for strategyquant, but it has not been installed yet.
Consider the possibility that site is infected.
2 people now had the same message logging in. Maybe more do but are too afraid to log in and post after getting a message like that.

this is quite strange, because .str file is an XML file without any executable code.
I wonder how it can contain Trojan code then.
