Simple EMA cross

Wondering if anyone can help optimize and impove result.. i’m a New Bee to coding please keep it simple for me with baby examples still learning this is my 1st try

Currency EURUSD

Time frame: 4hrs

Strategy: 10 cross over 100

Stop loss : 150pip

Trailing Stop: 200

 

Time scale start date 2010 to 2016

Profit : £5152.2

Would like to add Heiken Ashi still testing then more advanced multiple time frames 

I changed that a little for You.

You had a fixed lot size for long and predefiened mm set for short – now both are predefined.

Besides – You should run a 99% tick quality backtest to have accurat reuslts when using trailing stop.

Hey Thank you Jack_Jazz for doing that i didn’t even realise. Also for taking the time will test it out. 

Here’s the version with ATR based SL and ATR based trailing stop (both in variables so You can set them as You want).

Remember that You need to test strategies with with trailing stop using tick mode (read about 99% backtest accuracy).

Hello again .. i’m almost there with my system where i wish to scaple.. but having a little difficulty with closing last orders if it rises above the middle bollinger bands can you kindly send an example .. or if you have something better to close last open order if it is losing

middle bollinger band should be the same like a moving average (simple / exponential)

Please can you help me i’m in the final stages (testing)  and I used the Example given for the Trailstop by ea 

however the buy side is working fine so i cloned the rules for the short/sell side but EA will not take a position .. tried everything please . pleae can you help me get it working.  I see  can’t see  im going wrong

I need a second eye or 3rd EYE lol,,,

Perhaps have a look at the Mt4 journal to see if any helpful notations.

it was the example given on the home page but can’t get the clone of the rule to work on the short side ?
