Zigzag highs & lows to trigger event.

Hi everybody,

what a great tool for the speed of EA building.

I am new to this tool and the mql4 programming language, but not programming. I have only had the tool for about 24 hours and have consequently searched this forum for about 6 of those hours for a solution to my needs for an EA.

I have read nearly all the post on zig zags, high and low’s etc… but I am still not able to come up with a solution.

What I am trying to achieve with my EA:

Last zigzag high = trigger sell then close after PT or SL hit

Last zigzag low = trigger buy then close after PT or SL hit

I am also having a hard time assigning a variable and logging the correct zigzag output to the journal. I realize that the zigzag repaints but for my trading, I am not concerned about that.

I have integrated a couple of the EA custom indicators that users have provided on this forum previously, there was a couple of zigzag custom indicators and a couple of swing custom indicators that I have loaded onto the platform but I am still struggling.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
