Evaluated Candidate is null – exception?

Hi there, I came across this line in the log “Evaluated candidate is null – exception”, when I tried using genetic evolution to build strategies. The number of Strategies generated increases, but stop after a few seconds running the process (in this case, stays at 34). I can see that the process keeps on running – i.e. it says something like “Task: Running backtest for Strategy 6.0.3060…”, with the strategy ID changing every two seconds or so. However the log doesn’t get updated, and the number of strategies generated just remain unchanged.

No issues when I change build mode to Random generation instead.

Obviously I get no results at all after leaving the process run overnight. Any suggestions on what I might have done wrong? Thanks!
