I would like use tick data downloaded with Tick Downloader in Strategy Quant to test an EA generated with EA wizard. But if i try to load it, SQ does not recognize, as .mq4 file either as .sqw file. I tried also saving it as .txt file but it does not load. Any idea? Thx

Hello,
in the current version 3 you cannot transfer your EA Wizard project into StrategyQuant. We are making this possible with version 4 (Wizard will be a built-in feature). See more here http://www.strategyquant.com/betaversion4
For simple strategy rules you can use SQ StrategyEditor (simplified Wizard)

StrategyQuant 4 Beta is able to do this, although it is still experimental funcitonality.
You have to follow these steps:
1. open your .sqw file in build in Wizard in SQ4 – it should convert it from old EA Wizard format to the new SQ4 strategy format
2. save the strategy inbto .sq4 file
3. now yu can normally load this .sq4 file into Retester

I tried to follow your tips but……….
I saved it in SQ4 format using “save as” button in dashboard and then I loaded in Retester using load button from results window below. I have set the USDCHF H1 timeframe and pressed on Start button, but it does not open any trades, while in MT4 tester it work correctly.

Ok, thanks for your feedback. It would help if you attach the Wizard project you use so we can check conditions and rules. Please use the ZIP (archived) format for upload
