Zen 3 will officially launch on October 8 and RDNA 2 (with Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs) will launch on October 28.

With the Ryzen 9 3900X at stock clocks, these improvements increase to about 25% in single-core and 15-16% in multi-core. It seems that the rumoured single-core optimisations are making the difference here.

it will boil down to the price of the 5900X compared with the reduced price of 3900X because a max 15% gain in performance is not much

thanks for your updating, BTW, did you get one 5950X? How is the benchmark?

Although it has been released for a month, but I still cannot get one in Taiwan, too hot to purchase one.

no, far from it, i never buy a newly released processor or any component, for several reasons, mostly the price which is too high but also i dont want to become a beta tester or lab rat, i always let the product be in the market for at least 6 months in case there are any design defects….etc

i have at the present a 3900X and i plan to upgrade in the next spring but with 3950X which i will buy alot cheaper than 5950X while having similar performance
