Sharpe Ratio and in Quant Analyzer does not match the Sharpe Ratio in MetaTrader

Hi,

I’ve conducted many backtests using MetaTrader 5, and imported them into Quant Analyzer for further data and analysis. Every single backtest that I import displays a different Sharpe Ratio in the “Analyze” tab.

See attached screenshots of the exact same backtest with MetaTrader 5 and imported into Quant Analyzer 4. Note that MT displays a Sharpe Ratio of 21.29, and QA displays far lower at 1.67.

Z-Score also does not match where MT displays -4.72, whereas QA shows -14.36.

These statistics are standard calculations that should not deviate. So why are these two programs displaying completely different results?

the formulas do not need to match precisely since we might be using different formulas compared to MT. Their formulas are not publicly accessible so we did not copy the formulas they use. You can see our formulas using QuantEditor. The code is open and can be modified

Buongiorno, la versione che avevo scaricato a giugno 22 funzionava perfettamente.

Oggi o scaricato e installato versione 4.9.2 -versione 64 bit come pc  (Ho disinstallato piu volte e riprovato a scaricare nuovamente tutto)  oggi 22/4/2023 ultima versione dal sito regolarmente.

Ma quando tocco tasto “load report “per caricare un rapporto di Mt4  si blocca tutto e per uscire devo usare ESC.

Pero’ se carico i dati Mt4  da “paste report”  ( copy all- da report piattaforma ) funziona ma e troppo lungo il procedimento

Prova a reinstallare l’ultima versione. Dovrebbe risolvere il problema. Facci sapere se no
