May I propose that for the next build. The main computer is lock licensed , with a ability to link “slave” computers in a network that is harnessed to the licensed computer.

The “slaves” cannot do any analysis other than the instruction from the registered licensed computer.

 

This way we can “add” processing power as we go along. Or even optimize an existing network of computers at home which is doing nothing for most of the time. the slaves work as a “screen saver” in the background with minimal disruption to its primary purpose. Since its java then the operating system of each element in the network is immaterial.

Hello Tomas,
I think you should reconsider this, because distributed computing/grid computing would be a feature that would massively accelerate the development process in SQX. GPUs are really not suitable for this type of development, but CPU clustering is, and there are many ways to implement it. I have found a very interesting framework that also uses Java (https://www.techilatechnologies.com/). I hope that you might at least consider discussing it with the team! :).
