Hello, I am new to the SQ community and it’s nice to meet you all.

I have come across the risk fixed % balance feature and try to set it to different configurations and one of them is as in the attached.

However, also as in the attached shown, the number of contract entered is always 1 no matter how I have tried to set to other configuration. Where I might have set it wrong? Thanks for the advice.

Hi all, I am new to the community. I was wondering the reason behind that no matter how I change the configuration of the risk fixed % balance, the trading size is still to be 1.

Hi,

this is very likely caused by the fact your strategy does not have a stop-loss defined to determine amount of risk for a trade. In such scenario SQ cannot calculate the correct lot size and will by default set the “Size if no MM” size for an order

Hi Tomas,

Thanks for reply. If I would like to enter the trade at Open and exit on the same day’s Close without setting any stop loss, is there another way to use the risk % of balance function properly?
