Hello,

I’m interested in doing multiple iterations through a sequence of tasks using the Custom Projects feature. With each iteration, when I get to the Builder task, I’d like to preserve a significant amount of my genetic stock from the previous iteration.

What GA settings will accomplish this for me?

And I didn’t see any settings for the GA elitism. How many strategies are guaranteed to be preserved with each generation? Is this something I can control?

Finally, if I enable the “Use strategies from Initial Population databank as evolution start”, will these strategies be first tested for fitness / filtering, or will they first be crossovers / mutated?

(These will represent the strategies that have already survived the previous gauntlets for me, and I want to ensure they are only rejected if they fail to meet the new tests of the current pass through the Builder).
