Grid – Buy strategy

Hi friends,

could you please help me with my grid strategy? It is made in AlgoWizard and it is simple nonoptimized version (so please dont look at equity). It works well in SQX, but it doesn’t work in MT4 properly. Only first three orders are OK in MT4.

Logic is easy:
1. Entry signal – Market order, 0.1 lot
2. Pending order doesn’t exists – limit order 20 pips under first trade is opened, lot 0.2
3. next step is 40 pips under first market order, and 0.3 lot etc..
4. everything is closed after some profit is reached, or max number of trades is opened

As I said, this works well in SQX, but MT4 has some problems with calculations lots and price levels fourth, fifth orders. There is also problem with set procision in MT4. It must be most precise, but it doesn’t trade at all in retester. If precision  – open price is set, it make 3 trades. I have more similar strategies but with same problems. Excelent in SQX, not working in MT4.

There is also a bug in SQX. In ,,Exit-All,, tab must magic numbers be set to Any. But SQX changes it to first item of list (MN_1_Long)  – describeed here https://roadmap.strategyquant.com/tasks/algw_0542

just wonder why do you use “fuzzy” exit signals? Do you mean you want either the first OR second condition to be true? This can be done using simple 2 conditions and “OR” logic

There is still the same problem in MT4, like with Fuzzy signals
