    Hello Community!

What is the difference between Symmetry vs. Trades symmetry?
I see these 2 at the rankings if I search for “Symmetry”.

symmetry – short profit/loss / long profit/loss – so this counts net profit for both sides

trades symmetry – the same, but count number of trades

I am just wondering which from these could be more important.
I think the “normal” Symmetry is more important. Why?

Bacuse if you have good symmetry regarding the net profits, then it should tell one, that the strategy generates profits, “it does not matter” what kind of trend or bias a market has
But if we force the “Trades symmetry” we just let generate almost the same number of trades, but this is just number of trades and the generated profit from one side could be totally ruined from the negative trades of the other side. So I think if we just look for the symmetry of the number of the trades it could be a trap….
