Hello,

I was missing space on my C: disk. I compressed files yesterday to regain some space.

Today as I opened SQX, all my strategies in Databanks were gone. 0. Nothing.

Is there a way or a path to retrieve them ?

Thanks.

Hi,

check the following folder whether you can see the files stored \user\projects\Builder\databanks

Generally compression should not impact StrategyQuant operation. There must be another reason for the lost file. We recommend using auto-sync for databanks. See the screenshot attached

Thank you very much for responding so late!

It gave me hope but unfortunately I checked the many databank folders and they are all empty except one old folder that does not show up in SQX GUI but is still in Windows Explorer folders with just 5 strategies. Strange. I lost 2.5 weeks worth of work. Shame. I should have backed up SQX folders. It was on my todolist.

I use Auto-sync every one hour so I don’t think it is about that.

It happened again. I had built a few strategies. When I tried to start SQX it took much more time than before and it showed a message, something like there was a problem but “SQX did some cleanup” and you can restart again.

The result is that I end up with 0 strategies in all the databancks and folders.

Do you know why SQX would do that ? How can I prevent it ?

Hello,

apologize for the troubles. This is odd. Which version do you currently run? Can you send us the latest log files from the /user/log/StrategyQuant folder to our [email protected]? I will ask the dev team to check
