“Out of memory error” no matter what I do

I’ve done some research on SQ and I really want to commit to buying the ultimate license package but I’m being held back by this extremely frustrating message.

My system: i7-8550U + 16GB RAM

Here’s what I’ve tried:

– Playing around with the configuration > memory settings. ‘Let the program determine max memory’ and setting max memory manually to 10GB.

– Using SQX142, 141 (both exe installer and zip), 140

– Testing on 2 different laptops (i7-1165G7 + 32GB RAM)  (i7-11800H + 32GB RAM)

– Following this page which was unhelpful

I’m trying to use the builder to generate random (not genetic) strategies according to a few indicators and price action, max strategies in databank => 1000. On EURGBP M1 data from dukascopy 2014-2024.

Bearing in mind, nothing else is running, only SQ and i’m still getting this error after running the builder for about 2 mins.

Please could someone point out what it might be? Not sure if I’m just being really stupid or if this is a common issue with this software.

That is strange, even with 16GB RAM it should be fine I believe. Can you share the builder configuration that leads to this error?

Hola, supongo que ya el problema fue arreglado después de tantos meses, pero comparto por si a alguien más le pasa, mi SQ estuvo funcionando bien y después de varias construcciones de estrategias me comenzó a aparecer el mensaje de out of memory, borré todo el database que tenía y lo guardé fuera de SQ, además borré el archivo de project dentro de builder y retester, eso me ha solucionado el problema, pero para que no ocurra debo borrarlo cada nueva generación y no sé por qué ocurre esto.
