yes, we are working on AlgoWizard, it should be much better in the new release

It seems SQx gets buggy if You remote control the workstation it is on. It is a lot of info on java problems under remote control on the web. Normally the java windows do not repaint and program hang. I had this problem for years with SQ3. It could not be remote controlled if computor had HDMI out but worked fine if it did not. what do you mean by buggy? have you opened a task about it?

It seems you are referring to some graphics problems when using remote desktop, I haven’t experienced it.

You can try to disable GPU rendering in Performance -> Browser tab, or try to add the following line to your StrategyQuantX.config file:
option -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false

But perhaps better way is to use SQ X running on VPS is through browser, just use the IP of your VPS and port 8080. If the port isn’t blocked you should be able to work with it.

Mark , it is to many and I am traveling that why I am on remote.  Example,  crosscheck comes up as ex. code 3oooo1, Generation is 1986 -2018 but comes up as 2014- 2018, Loading strategies from drive makes the program hang, I cant set negative numbers for ranking in genetic evo,  Double click result come up as white window now that cant be closed, it do not find any strategies at all efter 2 days  but found 2000 on the other server with same setting after 20 min. It is not on VPS it Is on non fixed ip address in a country were all DDNS services is blocked by the great firewall. I do not want to write the name of the country since they scan all FORUMS and block them for no reason.

Turning of accelerate using GPU solved the problems.  Maybe some text should be added recomending turning it of if computor/VPS is remote controlled by third party software. (any)

16:52 CET – updater is not working

Hi Guys, its too early to say anything about memory management issues. One niggly problem still exists…and that is the Strategy selection tool is still NOT working as should, with a bit of efficiency. Whey I sort a list and wish to delete a segment of them, I have to click each one of them one by one! A thousand times is no fun to run this exercise. At the moment one select and deselect all. Not some of them!

Please Mark, pay some attention to this. It is small but really irritation or rather frustrating!

I’m able to select segment of strategies, I think trick is to click on name not checkbox, select first one and then shift+click on name at last you want to be in the segment

This is an unconventional work around the problem. Yes when select the segment, how do you unselect it? Worked that one out?

Never needed unselect!

I usually just sort them by parameter and delete segment I don’t need.

You are right, it is not conventional,  that is probably how is done in 3rd party HTML grid component that is used for UI.

Mark – did you make a big change to the builder?  I have set all my crosscheck tests and filters and I am seeing stuff come through that 108 was not letting through.

I am testing for MC methods, but strategies are coming through that have not been MC method tested.

I have a filter set for MC manipulation but they are coming through and don’t fit what the filter is requiring.

Net profit > $0 not working

So far I haven’t found a filter that does work.

Im not going to test 109 because basic problems with datas. Fix this pls asap https://roadmap.strategyquant.com/tasks/sq4_2643

the memory management seems getting worse in 109, it stopped after couple of hrs running , the log says the memory is 87% full and  bot able go further,   this never happen to me before.
